Thoughts from Genesis 1:3

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

God created using words. He spoke stuff into existence. We need to know the power of the spoken word. We are saved when we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord. We need to speak our faith a lot more than we do. Sometimes we may not even be convinced of what we are saying, but in speaking the word out, we will eventually believe it.

God created Light on Day 1. Do you note that the Bible spoke about evening and morning on Day 1. Have you ever noticed that the sun and moon and stars were only created on Day 4? I am just saying! God created light without the need of the Sun. man God is amazing.

I love the way the Word says that God created the light and then he spearated it from the darkness. It was almost as though the light and the darkness co-existed for a while, before God separated them.
